Inspired by this novel, HFC took name and inspiration from The Hazelbourne Ladies Motorcycle and Flying Club, a novel brimming with courage, friendship, and adventure. Set in a seaside town during the early days of aviation, it follows women who dared to defy expectations—trading comfort for challenge, and discovering freedom on two wheels and in the skies. Their spirit is infectious, and I couldn’t resist naming our own little flying-and-reading club after them. I hope you’ll dive in and fall in love with their story as much as I did!
